Really & here I thought I was excited that I saved for 2 years to go to the Vancouver Games for 15 days. Hmmm…. $3000 on a hotel, $600 on plane tickets, $1000+ on event tickets, $4-500 on clothing (since I’m from Miami & have no winter clothes). I would be more likely to say no one cares about your opinion vs. the Winter Olympics. Sorry.

The Skating Rinks here died. There were in fact 3 at one time when I was young. Now there is one and it’s open one day a week =I
I only know one place open to the public in the area ( 90 miles away ) that has an Ice rink, and with the recession it may close down. It’s in a mall and the mall owner is bankrupt.
